About > Natalie Phillips-Mason

Hi, I’m Natalie

I discovered my purpose through neuroinclusion allyship.

Drawing on decades of experience as a corporate change practitioner, people leader and parent in a mixed neurotype family, I guide leaders and teams to better understand human differences – and to create workplaces where all minds are valued, respected and supported.

Building Inclusive Change

In 2022, I founded Inclusive Change – a strategic consultancy grounded in respectful curiosity, partnership and compassion.

We create safe spaces for learning, reflection and capability-building, with programs designed to explore what equity really looks like in practice. Our focus is simple: help organisations create the conditions for employees of all neurotypes to thrive.

Since launching, Inclusive Change has partnered with clients across government, retail, consulting and the private sector – including Tier 1 firms and purpose-led teams committed to meaningful, sustainable change.

Research that drives inclusion

Inclusive Change is also active in customer experience research.

In 2024, our team released findings from a national study into how neurodivergent and neurotypical Australians experience shopping in-store. The insights are already challenging retailers to think differently – and prompting well-known brands to explore more inclusive, sensory-aware retail environments.

I’m proud that this work is sparking important conversations across the industry.

A trusted and thoughtful voice

I’m grateful to be part of a growing network of advocates and allies who care deeply about inclusion.

I’ve spoken at events including Culture Con, Retail Leaders Forum, and Family Friendly Workplaces, and have been quoted in the Law Institute Journal. My work is supported by partners including the Australian Retailers Association, Aspect, and the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.

I’ve written for Inside Retail and Inside FMCG, and regularly join panels, podcasts and leadership forums to share what I’ve learned about neurodiversity, inclusion and what it means to be an active ally.

Let’s stay curious

Neurodiversity is a space of constant learning – and I’m committed to staying connected to lived experience, research and community insight as it evolves.

If you’re exploring how to make your organisation more inclusive, I’d love to connect.
